What I Offer:
I offer complimentary bedside maternity sessions for mothers on antepartum units.
These sessions are:
Gentle and unhurried
Typically 20-30 minutes
Done right in your hospital room (and outside if allowed by providers)
Focused on connection, emotion, and quiet strength
You’ll receive a small gallery of thoughtfully edited digital images—at no cost to you.
Why I do This:
I am a labor nurse.
I’ve sat beside mothers in these rooms through long days, unknowns, and moments that deserved more than monitors and medication.
I created this offering because even here… your story matters.
This season may not look the way you planned, but it is still a part of your beautiful life … and it deserves to be remembered with tenderness.
What to Expect:
There is nothing you need to prepare.
You can wear:
A hospital gown
A robe or blanket
Or anything that feels comfortable to you
I will gently guide you, but nothing will feel forced.
We can include your partner or support person if you’d like, and we will always move at a pace that feels right for you.
A Note on Safety and Care
I understand the nuances of antepartum care and the importance of protecting both you and your baby. When appropriate, I can communicate with your care team to ensure any session, whether at the bedside or briefly outdoors, aligns with your medical plan.
Throughout your session, I remain attentive to how you’re feeling, with an awareness of symptoms and changes that matter. Your safety, comfort, and care will always guide every moment.
My experience as an L&D nurse allows me to hold both roles gently, honoring your story while respecting the clinical space you’re in.
Questions:
Is this really free?
Yes. There is no cost. This is something I offer from the heart.
Do I have to share my photos?
No. Your images are private unless you give permission.
What if I’m not feeling well?
That’s okay. We can reschedule or simply let it go. Your well-being comes first.
“While being stuck in the hospital connected constantly to IVs and monitors, this small photoshoot made me feel like a human again … like I was still becoming a mother.”
