Newborn Photography
Those first days with your baby are a blur of love, wonder, and exhaustion … and they pass faster than you can imagine. As a photographer with a background in labor and delivery, I approach newborn sessions with the same tenderness and reverence I bring to the birth space. I know how sacred these moments are: the curled toes, the milk-drunk sighs, the way your baby fits perfectly in your arms. My goal is to gently freeze time … to capture the connection, the stillness, and the quiet magic of your baby’s earliest days. These aren’t just portraits; they’re heirlooms of a love that’s just beginning to unfold.
When to Book?
The newborn stage is fleeting and so is the window for those curly, sleepy, squishy photos you’re dreaming of. Newborn sessions are best captured in the first 5–14 days after birth, when babies are still sleepy enough to curl into those beautiful posed positions and their skin is at its softest.
That’s why I recommend booking during your second trimester (around 28–32 weeks pregnant). Spots fill quickly, and securing your date early means you’re on the calendar no matter when your little one decides to arrive. Once baby is here, simply reach out and we’ll confirm your session timing.
Life is unpredictable. I always do my best to accommodate early or late arrivals.
A few things to keep in mind:
I have a flexible rebooking policy for early or late deliveries.
If your baby is older than 2–3 weeks, we can still create beautiful lifestyle and awake-style portraits
Booking early = peace of mind during those busy final weeks of pregnancy
